IRESC UN status for an organization enables it to actively engage with the


and its subsidiary bodies, as well as with the United Nations Secretariat, programs, funds and agencies in a number of ways, including opportunities to consult with member states and the United Nations system at large.

Therefore, IRESC has a special duty and obligations to the United Nations and all legal organizations and persons.

IRESC duty also extends to other important areas beside amateur radio as well in our special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council United Nations 2012 see our field of expertise.
